Thank you!
Wow -_O
You totally ripped off that tomb raider song, Edge Hill, surprisingly doesnt sound bad for 9 seconds XD
I can't edit or delete this submission so I'll take advantage of your review to make an announcement. Don't listen to this. It's horrible. Kids who are just starting out shouldn't be allowed to post in the Audio Portal.
But now that I'm at it, can anybody tell me how this gets a better score than my more recent, more accomplished track "I am a Dog"?
(Rhetorical question. I'm not expecting anybody to actually have an answer. The universe is riddled with ridiculous mysteries)
To ambientqueen:
When I first started making music I didn't have much of a studio. Only a sample based sequencer, a limited selection of drum samples (couldn't find that many) and CDs to sample from (I was going through an old school hip hop thing). I don't remember much about this one. I think it was the intro to a bigger track. Don't exactly know how many samples I used, where they came from, and how much I tinkered with them. I do remember, however, that I took one from my cousin's copy of Tomb Raider OST. So congratulations for picking it out. It wasn't that memorable a track if I remember correctly. Also, thanks for the favourable review. If I were to accidentally stumble upon this horrible little number, I'd probably post an inflammatory review urging me to hang myself. So really, thanks.
EDIT: Thanks for that, people. The score is now down and I can rest assured that my worst, most embarassing work is rightfully recognized for it's awfulness.
JESUS CHRIST!
This song is one of the most beautiful things ive ever heard, and your comment there is totally true, i think pain and torture just make the world beautiful in the end awesome job!
I feel very appreciated =D
Well...
Its not bad for your first try, but i would try to mix it more with a beat and have some more creative tunes on it so its not so repetitive. good job tho =]
thanks!
